Hey everybody, thought I would update ya’ll while I feel a little better today than I have in the last week. I finally have February behind me. I hope the worst is behind me but we will have to wait and see. Tomorrow is March 2 so I will be halfway through with treatment. Monday when I weighed I was at 195 lbs. Thursday weighed again at 202 lbs. I took IV fluids Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and again Friday. I actually look like a Kill-Dee bird standing in a pair of shotgun shells! I started losing some of my hair today in the back so Judy cut it really short for me. It’s really difficult to keep enough fluids and nutrition going through my tube to keep me hydrated. I didn’t know how hard it would be to not be able to eat or drink for a long period of time. I can’t wait till the day I can eat, drink, and taste again. I just want everyone to know how much Judy and I appreciate everyone’s prayers, calls, cards, and thoughts from everyone. May God bless each one of you and your families. I will be talking to you guys later!!

Hey Guys, I am "Groovy" Garvins sister, Laura. I know ya'll know me, just wanted to make ya'll aware of Lisa's real name.
Ya'll are being prayed for by a member or sometimes two members of Lakeside almost 24/7. We have a prayer ministry where people commit to pray for 1 hour each week. This is really cool, ya'll will be lifted up to God almost 24 hours of each day, so when things are getting tough remember people back home care. I was SOOOO happy to get an update that you felt up to writing. I hope as you read this that you are feeling even better. Judy I am so thankful you have had friends and family there to help and know I am here if you need me:) Guys I just watched the secret tonight and will watch it again before the weekend is over... please please watch it again and see how powerful the mind and spirit can be for healing!! Keep fighting the good fight!!

Hello buddies! I miss you both and wish I was still there with you. I know that ya'll are much better off with qualified help-Sandi!! I hope as you are reading this, you are feeling better Robert. Judy-you absolutely amaze me. The two of you are handling this arduous journey so well and I know it is not easy. Better times are ahead-focus on the light at the end of this tunnell-March 27th! Then you two can get back to truly enjoying all the beauty around you. I look forward to coming up and 4-wheeling (and kayaking please!!) with you. I love you both and you are always in my thoughts and prayers.
Goody's - It is really good to hear, okay "read", Robert giving his own report! That is a great sign of improvement! Your halfway their...you can do it! Love to you both!

I am not knocking Judy, but it is great to see what you have to say Robert.I hope things have gone as well this weekend with Sandi up there. Is't it great to have a Nurse handy!! Love you guy's and please keep the good news coming. again, if you guy's need ANYTHING, please let us know.
