Saturday
Hello everyone,
Judy and I had to go back to Paris Friday to get my Jason mask from Friday 13th made. I will wear the mask during every radiation treatment. The mask will make sure my head is in the same position for each of the 35 treatments. They keep the mask in a freezer so it will be freezing when I put it on. We met my radiation nurses Friday, Maria Antoinette (black lady in picture) and Toni, and they went over everything I should expect from the radiation. They are great and I am looking forward to getting to know them better. They tell me I will like them and then ½ thru treatment I will not like them at all. I find that hard to believe they are wonderful. I told them I will be their favorite patient they have ever had. My radiation starts Wednesday, and they tell me it will not affect me until about the 2nd week of treatment. I am going to hold Maria and Toni to that.
On the way home from Paris Friday, Judy and I stopped in to see my buddy who owns Kiamichi Chevrolet (Tim Tomlinson) here in Broken Bow. Tim and his wife Judy did not know what was going on. I told Tim and asked him if he had a car we could use to go back and forth to treatments that got good gas mileage. Tim said “Robert, you do not worry about a thing, I will take care of it for you”. Tim is going to supply us a car to drive to treatments. Tim called Judy Saturday morning and said he and his wife were talking about my situation and his wife, Judy said they needed to do more, so they are not only taking care of a vehicle for us to travel back and forth in, but they are taking care of the gas also. I can not tell you what that means to Judy and I, God is still working in mysterious ways. We are just in awe and do not fully understand all the wonderful people who have reached out to help us. If anyone is looking for a new vehicle, please keep Kiamichi Chevrolet in mind. They are truly wonderful people.
Cassie and her boyfriend Chris came up for the weekend. We went 4 wheeling today with Robert’s boss Jeff Gibbs and his brother Gerald. We all had a great time; there was still a little snow in places. We are hoping I still have a couple of weeks of riding left before the radiation kicks in. The dirtiest 4 wheeler award goes to Cassie, she and Mudbug (my niece Morgan) do not like to slow down for the puddles. Hope everyone has a great superbowl party, Judy, Oscar and I can’t wait. Go Saints!!! (there you go Sani Ani)

Love Ya'll A Lot! Lisa W
I am absolutely blown away by the generosity of people. Mick asked me over breakfast if I had seen the blog and I told him "No". And he said "Sandi, you need to look at it". His expression was like a child waking up at Christmas...and so I did. And as I read the most recent entry....tears began to fill my eyes. How wonderful for you both. There is no doubt that the Lord has heard everyone's prayers and wants to show all of us...the kindness and compassion found in a person's heart. Some give you a warm hug or smile, some give you what they have saved for a rainy day, and some...give something that deep inside you, from the bottom of your heart, you know you could never say thank you enough. So, I will say as well..."Thank you", because not only do you help Robert and Judy, but you help all of us who wish we could do more and wish some how we could make this all better for them. Sincerely...Thank you!!!
Oh and Robert...we both know the Saints are not in the Super Bowl but by golly....there is always next year....AND if your not a Saints fan...hope that voo-doo stuff doesn't make you paranoid.
ha.. :)
WOW!! what awesome news about the car & gas being provided!! It's always amazing to see how friends just literally come out of the woodwork to lend a helping hand & show you God's grace. That helps get you through the tough times. God Bless your friends at the Chevrolet dealership.
Love, Joe & Robbin
Sandi,
You said it all so well, you made me cry. The blessings that are going to come out of this ordeal are just pouring out of people!!

Here's one for your friend:)
A blonde's car gets a flat tire on the Interstate one day.
So she eases it over onto the shoulder of the road.
She carefully steps out of the car and opens the trunk.
Takes out two cardboard men, unfolds them and stands them at the rear of
the vehicle facing oncoming traffic.
The lifelike cardboard men are in trench coats exposing their nude
bodies to approaching drivers...
Not surprisingly, the traffic became snarled and backed up.
It wasn't very long before a police car arrives.
The Officer, clearly enraged, approaches the blonde of the disabled
vehicle yelling, "What is going on here?"
"My car broke down, Officer" says the woman, calmly.
"Well, what the heck are these obscene cardboard pictures doing here by
the road?" asks the Officer...
"Oh, those are my emergency flashers!" she explained
One more for your friend.. ladies you'll love this one :)

Robert and Judy,
Yes, my eyes filled with tears just like Sandi's when I read about your wonderful friends Tim and Judy. I agree with everything Sandi said and since I am not able to say it as beautifully as she did I will just ditto her comment and then double it back and forth to the moon three times. Wow, it is so encouraging for me to witness what God is doing for you. Yes, God is working in many mysterious ways and I too believe your chemo and radiation are going to go much better than the Dr's have told you it will because God is on your side and with you. (This is very obvious!!) I am sending fresh new prayers your way and look forward to hearing more and more good news everytime I sign on and read the miracles that are pouring down on you. Thank you Tim and Judy for your awesome generosity. May God bless you both more richly than you can imagine.
Love and hugs, Terri, Carlos and Aleisha, in Charleston, SC
Thanks for letting us come down.. we had a wonderful, dirty time and were so glad to see you up and doing all the things you enjoy. Judy, thanks for the cake...it's all gone! Can't wait to get muddy again :) but, i think i need a cool name like morgan :)
Robert,
Kenny and I have wondered what happened to you and where you went. We no longer saw your pickup on 198. I ran into Brian Moree and he told me your trauma saga, and I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. Cancer is evil!!! I've added you and Judy to my prayers b/c cancer affects the entire family. Well, I must say I never thought I'd see you in a do rag, but I guess you look pretty good (ha). I'm going to be checking your blog and reporting to Kenny how things are going. We wish you the best! Love, Shirley Chase
Good Morning Mr. and Mrs. Goodner.. I was just looking over the pics posted and although there are some showing Roberto's treatments I see so many of you guys having a good time and see so many loved ones on the pics with you.. I think these photos speak volumns about who you are and why so many want to help in anyway we can... one more treatment and then the weekend.. yippeeeeee..
Hugs and much Luv to you both
Hey guys, finally got the site correct (Thanks Dad). I have been thinking and praying for you guys. I know you have heard it a thousand times, but you can call me if you need anything.
